  2. Review controlled airspace, facility-map grid altitudes, nearby airports, special-use airspace and the other displayed FAA layers.
  3. Check current Temporary Flight Restrictions and NOTAMs before flying.
  4. If controlled airspace applies, obtain authorization through an FAA-approved LAANC provider or FAA DroneZone.
  5. Confirm weather, visual line of sight, people and vehicle considerations, Remote ID and all Part 107 or recreational requirements.
