Narwal, World’s First Self-Cleaning Robot Mop & Vacuum , Funded $100,000 in 2 Hours on Kickstarter

Zipline medical drones supply

Fly Zipline Ghana will on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 officially launch its drone delivery service in the country.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is expected to launch the initiative at Zipline’s first distribution center at Omenako, a town in the Suhum municipality in the Eastern Region.

Prior to the official launch on Wednesday, Zipline on Tuesday, will officially fly its first drone to deliver vaccines to the New Tafo Hospital in the Eastern Region.

$12.5 million contract approved

Government in 2018 approved the operationalization of Zipline’s drone technology to deliver essential drugs and blood to rural areas in the country amidst protest from Members of Parliament on the Minority side.

The $12.5 million contract is to enable the government to fly blood and other health essentials to deprived areas.

The infamous, serial killer-possessed doll Chucky gets a modern upgrade in a new reboot of the 1980s horror classic, “Child’s Play.”

The movie’s first trailer was unveiled Thursday and, from the looks of it, the terror looks a lot more tech-focused this time around. Due out in June, “Child’s Play” stars Aubrey Plaza as Karen Barclay, a single mother who buys her son, Andy (Gabriel Bateman) a smart home device known as a “Buddi doll” named Chucky.

Unfortunately for the mother and son duo, Chucky is far more sinister than he appears ― and with the new contemporary twist, he seems to be able to take control of thermostats, lawn mowers and even drones, making his kills considerably more elaborate.

According to a statement from the National Tropical Botanical Garden, Hibiscadelphus woodii was discovered on a vertical cliff face. On 5 October 1744, a storm was brewing in the English Channel. With sails set for home after chasing a French fleet off the coast of Portugal, a squadron of British warships was in trouble.
The lead ship HMS Victory sank 100m to the seabed 50 miles (80km) south of Plymouth, taking with it 1,100 men and – so rumour had it – lots of Portuguese gold. The wreckage lay undisturbed until it was located by a marine salvage company in 2009.
Beyond the rumoured gold, there was something else on board which was arguably much more economically significant.
Also lost that day was the first known attempt to develop an idea that is now used to guide everything from submarines to satellites, from rovers on Mars to the phone in your pocket.
When the Victory went down, it took with it John Serson's “whirling speculum”, forerunner to the gyroscope.
